If you're wondering what the scents we did for our wax melt subscription for April, then I guess this is the blog post for you!
What was in April's Subscription box?
First things first, I guess we should take a proper look at them, right?
Ok, let's break them down one at a time!
Morning Zest
So since this was a "Spring" inspired box, we wanted at least ONE wax melts to have an uplifting, bright, zesty quality to it. That's hopefully what Morning Zest is! It has a refreshing citrus vibe to it that makes it feel like a lovely spring morning!
Himalayan Cedar
So this one kinda has a "day at the lake" vibe to it. I've never been to a lake in the Himalayan's, but if it smelled like this then I'd be fine with going. It's not quite as woody as you might expect given that the name has "cedar" in it, but it certainly has outdoorsy Spring vibes to it!
Spring Loaded
This is actually a dupe of a well known washing fragrance, BUT it smells way better than just a standard fresh & clean scent. It has this fruity sort of uplifting-ness to it rather than "here's some washing powder for you" which usually puts me off those types of scents. Yeah, it's just a really nice one.
Greener Pastures
I think this sort of scent might split people. If you're a fan of proper grassy scents then you MIGHT just like this one. It's not Fresh Cut Grass which we've done before, but it's similar. Not 100% sure how to explain the difference to be fair, but I think this one has a more earthy vibe to it too.
